Blackball-
Members of 1% for the Planet get to help direct their contributions to organizations or causes of their choosing. This means that 1% of our gross sales will be directed to local environmental causes.

So, you're directing 1% to Mothers For Peace? Cause that's what comes up when bb does a search on the link you provided.

bb says, run the total yourself and at the end of the month, send the 1% to Big Brothers Big Sister @

BBBS of San Luis Obispo County
142 Cross Street, Suite 140
San Luis Obispo, CA 93401
office@slobigs.org
http://www.slobigs.org
(805) 781-3226

Stoke out a little fella.

Dig a little deeper. Registered and qualified environmental non-profits in the county (SLO) include:

Morro Bay Natural Estuary Program
Environmental Center of SLO (ECOSLO)
Coastal Alliance on Plant Expansion
SLO Bike Coalition
Environment in the Public Interest
Central Coast Vineyard Team
SLO Mothers for Peace

These non-profits have all been vetted by 1% and are conducting valuable environmental work in and around the county.

If you'd like to see a favorite local non-profit be added to this list, please encourage them to apply.

bb stands corrected, keep up the good work. None of it's going to the worthless org, surfrider, that is the most important thing.
